Being Aware Of The Physical Symptoms of Depression
Do you have frequent physical symptoms such as stomach problems, muscle pains, headaches, and back pain? Are you eating a lot more than normal and gaining weight, or at the other end of the spectrum, has your appetite decreased and you are losing weight. Do you have trouble concentrating at your job, or with your school work? Physical symptoms are usually found in the head and neck area, the chest, stomach, back, arms and hands, and legs and feet areas. Do you think about suicide, and or dying frequently? These are all very real signs that you are depressed and could use the help of depression medication and a healthcare professional. Depression can present itself in young children, teenage children, or adults. With increasing social, financial, and school and work demands being placed on all of us, depression does not age discriminate, and we need to be aware of the symtoms of depression.
