There are many benefits of homeschooling children, but many cons of homeschooling as well. Many of the children who are home schooled do not have the social skills that are needed to get along with other people. Because they have lived a rather protective lifestyle, they may not be used to interacting with other people. Eventually, we all have to learn to get along with people who are different than us. Children who do not learn this in school, often have a tough time adjusting when they venture out into the world. Lack of socialization skills is one of the cons of homeschooling that must be addressed if the home schooling methods are to be successful.
