I have had my car stolen before and it was not a pleasant experience. The police discovered it dumped in a remote location several weeks later. This held up my insurance claim and caused me a great deal of inconvenience. I have since purchased a gps car alarm as a theft deterrent. It will also double up as a vehicle locator. The great thing about this is that I may actually qualify for an insurance reduction. Vehicle security is importance and these devices also bring peace of mind.
